2020 Five-Star Safe Food Award Winner

Glen Eira City Council recently awarded Murrumbeena Park with the Highly Commended Club award as part of their 2020 Five-Star Safe Food Awards program. This award is in recognition of food safety excellence demonstrated at our Club when assessed by Council’s Environmental Health Officers in 2019. There were 10 finalists and MPBC was nominated as the best performer in the Club category. The overall winner was Picknick Café in Caulfield North. In past years Council have celebrated business achievements during an awards ceremony, which unfortunately has not been possible this year. Instead, Council has rewarded Highly Commended businesses with $300 which we have been encouraged to spend in a way that will also support other businesses within Glen Eira by shopping locally. When the club is back open to members we will celebrate this achievement with a pizza night!
