functions & events!
Why not hold your next milestone birthday or work function at MPBC! Or simply grab a group of mates for your own barefoot bowls challenge, only $10 per person with access to the coldest and cheapest drinks in Murrumbeena!
We can cater for many types of groups, both small and large, even just a get-together with friends for some barefoot bowling.
With our two grass greens, an extensive and newly renovated clubhouse, deck and bar, there is scope for arranging a memorable day for your group. A full commercial kitchen is also available.
We will work with you to put together a package tailored specifically to suit your needs – from a lazy afternoon of barefoot bowls, to more formal or milestone events.
For barefoot bowls groups or functions that include bowling, we supply the bowls and get everything set up for you, as well as having members around to get you started and help with basic bowls tips, all in a fantastic venue.
As the name suggests, barefoot bowls can be played barefoot, or flat soled shoes or thongs can be worn in cooler weather.
Although we don’t offer catering, you or your own caterer can make use of our immaculate and fully equipped commercial kitchen or large BBQ. All crockery and cutlery is available for use with kitchen bookings, or you or your caterer may prefer to supply your own disposable tableware. We can make some recommendations and suggestions for outside catering and more photos are available of previous function set-ups.
